Ministry: Russia sows 31.2 mln hectares of spring crops by Friday

MOSCOW, May 15 (PRIME) -- Russian farmers have sowed 31.2 million hectares of land with spring crops as of Friday, which is 6.5% more than as of the same date of 2019, the Agriculture Ministry said in a statement.

Spring crops were sowed on 60.1% of the planned area.

Grain was sowed on 18.5 million hectares, or 63.3% of the planned area.
